The Safe-T-Valve is designed to shut off the gas automatically in the event of a 5.2 magnitude or greater earthquake. Incorporates push button design that allows for manual shut off with no tools needed. To reset the earthquake valve, simply turn the handle counter clockwise to the the vertical position.
The Safe-T-Valve is the only spring loaded mechanical earthquake valve on the market. This increases reliability and minimizes false triggers.
